Sometimes this error occurs in the Google Chrome browser on Windows, where “Cache Pending” is constantly displayed in the status bar at the bottom left of the web browser. If you are experiencing this problem, you can read here how to get rid of this annoying error with very simple methods.
Clear Google Chrome Cache
To clear the cache in Google Chrome, click on the small icon (three overlapping dots) in the upper right corner of the application window. When you click on it, the following menu will appear. Now press the “More Tools” button, and then the “Clear Browsing Data” button.
The “Clear Data” dialog box will appear as shown below. Most of the options will probably be enabled. So uncheck the options you do not want to delete. In the example below, I have only enabled the “Clear Cache” option. You can then choose to clear only the last day, the last week, the last 4 weeks, or all data from the drop-down list. You want to delete everything.
Finally, click “Clear Browser Data” and restart your browser just to be sure. You’ll have a nice clean cache and the error message should disappear.
Disabling the writing of cache files to the SSD
If you want, you can disable the write cache on a Windows computer. You can enable or disable this feature from the disk manager snap-in.

Creating a new user profile
Another solution to this problem is to use a new user profile in Google Chrome.
Step 1: Open Google Chrome again, click on the image icon (next to the icon with the three dots) that displays your profile, and go to Manage People > Add Person.
Step 2: On the new page, enter a name and select an icon. Then click Add to create a new profile for Chrome.
After that, your Chrome will restart with the new profile. You can check if the cache in Chrome is not resolved. Once the issue is resolved, you can sign in to your Google account and import the data stored in the new profile.
Disable caching when writing to disk
To solve the Chrome cache waiting problem, you can also disable disk write cache in Windows 10 PC. This feature is designed to improve computer performance so that data can be stored in DRAM or SLC NAND first and then written to the NAND disk.
Disabling this feature may reduce the disk write speed. Some users have solved the Chrome problem by waiting to disable it to prevent the cache from being written to the SSD disk, so you can give it a try.
Step 1: Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box. Type devmgmt.msc and click OK to open Device Manager.
Step 2: Double-click on the “Disks” category to expand it. Right-click on the SSD where Chrome is installed and select Properties.
Step 3: In the new window, click on the Policy tab and uncheck the Enable writeable device caching checkbox. Then click OK to close the window.
You can then restart Google Chrome to open the site again.
