Virtual offices
The first major change is the task view, also known as virtual desktops. Finally, Windows 10 lets you rename and rearrange virtual desktops.
You can now rearrange desktops by using the context menu with ALT + Shift + left/right arrows or by dragging and dropping.
You can also set a different background image for each desktop.
- Under Settings > Customization > Background, left-click on the background to change the background of the active virtual desktop.
- If you right-click on the background in this preferences page, a new option allows you to change the background of a specific virtual desktop.

File Management Layout Update
File Exporter now has additional padding between controls and files. This makes the app easier to touch and looks consistent with the apps in the store. Classic density can be enabled through a setting in the display options called Use Compact Mode.

Incoming application updates
- The notepad has finally been updated by the store. It also has a new icon and has been moved from the Windows Accessories folder to its place in the Start menu.
- Windows Terminal is now enabled as an inbox application.
- Power Automate Desktop is now enabled as an inbox application.
- WordPad is no longer the default text editor for some text file formats. Instead, these commands are now handled by Word and Notepad.

Hidden features in Windows 10 build 21337

The Device Channel, formerly known as the Quick Ring, reflects recent changes in the Windows code base. Therefore, the changes you see in the dev channel versions may not appear in the next feature update. So we can expect some features that may never appear in stable versions of Windows 10 to make their appearance on the desktop.
If you’ve set your device to receive updates via the device channel/shortcut number, open Settings – > Update & Recovery and tap Check for updates on the right. Allows you to install the latest available version of Windows 10 Insider Preview.
