The Razer Basilisk Ultimate is an exceptional wireless mouse that stays far above the best games on the list in its price range. It is certainly an exceptional mouse, with almost all the extra features that are hard to find in some of the competitors together. It is available for a price of $169/£169/AU$299. However, the question is whether Razer Basilisk Ultimate should spend all the money.

The Razer Basilisk Ultimate has an angled design, full diagonal cut-outs and colourful LED light panels, as well as a beautiful Razer logo. The Razer Basilisk Ultimate is a right-handed mouse with textured sides and a thumb on the left. This is a medium-heavy device that weighs about 107 grams and is slightly larger – about 5 inches long and 3 inches wide – if you decide to take your thumb with you.
If you have big hands, you’ll find the Razer Basilisk Ultimate very handy for long play sessions. It is handy to place a palm, grip or claws, but it may not be suitable for people with small hands or those who want a light mouse.

The buttons are clickable. The scroll wheel is first class, with the wheel underneath to adjust the resistance. If you press, you can tilt the scroll wheel to the right or left, which is very useful in the middle of a fight (well, it scrolls by default, but you can also flip it).
The Razer Basilisk Ultimate has a mounting wing on the left side, which is particularly suitable for temporary sensitivity adjustment. For example, if you want to shoot in the first instance, you can hold this paddle to aim properly if you are a sniper.
It comes with a charging station, which also has a nice LED backlight around the base. This docking station has multiple contacts and Basilisk automatically connects when not in use. The light reflects the state of charge and the angle of inclination means that the mouse, once docked, looks like a miniature table sculpture.

Games with Basilisk Ultimate are first-class thanks to the best optical sensor in its class and flawless typing speed.
Basilisk Ultimate uses Razer’s Focus+ optical sensor with automatic calibration functions for different surfaces to ensure a constant residual distance and adjustable distance to the landing site. The Razer’s sensor is correct and responsive, and the optical switches are located behind all buttons. This feature has made the game instinctive, because when you play Razer Basilisk, you won’t even be able to think of the object in your hand; instead, the mouse will be like an extension of your hand. It is as if every movement and every click was recorded almost immediately, and the phobia of a delay in the wireless connection was pierced.

Gaming performance can be compared to that of the Logitech G502. Basil at 107g is slightly finer and more attractive than the G502 at 114g, but the difference was incredible during the race. But not as adjustable as Logitech, the weight is accurate.
The high DPI settings are ideal for playing nervous FPS games such as Counterstrike and Rock (Doom). The simple arrangement of the sensitivity control knobs makes accurate focusing very convenient.
Due to the poor positioning of the sniper button, it is quite difficult to use it during the game, so you can completely ignore the DPI setting with the buttons next to the scroll wheel in no time.

Adjustable scroll wheel resistance
Underneath the Razer Basilisk Ultimate is a scale that allows you to tactfully or continuously adjust the resistance of the scrollwheel. With this level of customization, you will be able to perform rabbit jumps, weapon selection and other actions correctly with the scroll wheel.
11 Programmable buttons
By displaying your favorite macros and secondary functions with Razer Synapse 3, you have an excellent range of controls at your fingertips. Just like the wired version, the Razer Basilisk Ultimate has a distinctive multifunctional paddle.

There is no doubt that Razer Basilisk Ultimate can do a lot of things, and it does them perfectly. The long battery life, bright lighting and prestigious performance make it easy to see that if you have more than enough money and don’t need to upgrade your system, it’s worth it.
If your whole line-up is already a Razer, it could be a mouse in front of you. You can sync the RGB on any of your devices using the Basilisk Ultimate’s RGB lamps. What’s more, you don’t need any other software to operate all the devices.
However, you can use Basilisk Ultimate in wired mode. Hardly an excuse. The wireless charging cradle is very handy for charging your mouse after every gambling session. Even if you do not recharge the battery often, it will last a long time.
Razer Basilisk Ultimate is great for gaming, but many other things are missing in the complex features. You can get a wireless game mouse that performs actions for much less money if you’re willing to charge the RGB and wirelessly.
The only thing Basilisk Ultimate hasn’t updated with Basilisk X HyperSpeed is the connection. The cheapest mouse offers both a 2.4 GHz wireless dongle and a dongle-free Bluetooth connection, making it a more capable mouse that can still play with confidence.
Well, the Razer Basilisk Ultimate isn’t small, but it does have an oblique design and is a bit narrow. Because of this, it can be relatively small in the claw grip or, for people with large hands, only small in the palm of the hand.
